April 2009
. There were three sessions in the sunny Mutageeni. First was about trying to imitate some natural sounds produced by something other than human voice or musical playing. I think the two last sessions we then played without any conceptions or how did it go?

January 2009. Six people played two long "living room" sessions. Instrumentation (if I remember right) among others: acoustic guitar, television, clarinet, small keyboards, sampler, some effects, bassdrum, "flutes". The first session started with a theme "as fast and silent as possible", while the second one was to be played as slow and heavy (not loud?) as possible.

December 2008. Two long sessions in between the artworks of
Jussi Tukiainen at Gallery Mutageeni. Lots of electronic instruments were present!

March 08. There were quite a lot of people at the department of musicology. This time
we played in groups and also at some point there were an idea that each should play against
another person. Finally we followed the idea to play something unashamedly sweet.

The first sessions from 2008 will follow. We were eight persons, and instruments were nearly all acoustic, voices, french horn, guitar, clarinet, a weltklang, some percussive things. We put into practice the same spontaneous grouping as we did last time.

Hello! From now on I am afraid that the information should be written in English, for there have been some english-speaking participants in the sessions. I am sorry for the delay.. but here are the last improvisations from december. Two acoustic guitars, a music stand, violin, french horn, human voices and some toy electronics among others were involved in the music. In the second session we played in a group of 3 persons (we were 5 in total!), where the players changed as the one who stopped playing pointed another one who should continue after him/her.

Hei taas. Lokakuussa ehdittiin soittaa vielä kerran
viiden hengen voimin. Osa äänestä ei tullut ehjänä talteen.
Loppusoitot äänitettiin kasetille.
